Event April Dawn Chorus Walk
Venue Sissinghurst Castle Garden(in Kent)
Description This special walk will be led by our National Trust Warden, Peter, and local Bird enthusiast, Alan Pavey. Join them as dawn breaks to experience the sights and sounds of the birds we have here at Sissinghurst. The walk and talk will be followed by a hot breakfast roll and coffee.

Event Barn Theatre Open Day

Description A chance to take a behind the scenes peek at the famous Barn Theatre and pick up our new events programme. Back stage tours and displays of props and costumes will make this an interesting day. Free event - but donations to our 'Dress in the Limelight' appeal would be very welcome.

Event 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde, starring Keith Drinkel

Description A darkly erotic version of Oscar Wilde's classic tale adapted and performed by Keith Drinkel. Dorian Gray is a young man of extraordinary charm and beauty. When his close friend paints his portrait, a series of shocking and supernatural events are set in motion resulting in the destruction of many of the central characters. Wilde explores the idea of sin and redemption in a gripping narrative, which includes his legendary wit and observation.

Event Circular walk around Sevenoaks

Description Enjoy a 10 mile scenic walk around Sevenoaks, beginning and ending in the park at Knole. The walk takes about 4 1/2 hours including a lunch stop - please bring a packed lunch. There will be some town walking.

Event Bluebell Walk
Venue Sissinghurst Castle Garden(in Kent)
Description Winter will seem a distant memory when you come and explore Sissinghurst's woods with a National Trust warden. Over the four mile route you will find usually undiscovered bluebells, wood anemones and emerging spring bulbs carpeting the woodland floor. This enjoyable walk will be followed by a traditional Cream Tea served in the Granary Restaurant.
